c. Scroller frame assignments shall be displayed and tracked through out the
show.
d. The Scroller Patch menu shall provide options for dark gel assignments
and frame adjustment to extend the life of dark color gels.
3. Moving Light Control
a. Moving lights (also known as spots) shall be patched to a control number.
Selecting the control number shall access all of the spot p arameters.
b. Selection: spots shall be selected using the numeric keypad, withÆ, +, -,
&, and Except syntax. Spot selections may also be made, through pre-
programmed groups, by selection of active spots visible on stage, or by
selections of spots from memories. There shall be a shortcut to recall the
last selection.
c. Attribute/parameter value assignments shall be made using the Soft Keys
for parameter selection and the numeric keypad or the parameter wheels.
d. Spot parameters may be assigned to one of 3 parameter control wheels.
Each wheel shall have a Led display, which shall show the current wheel
assignment. Pan and tilt may be controlled by the trackball or wheels.
e. There shall be support for 8 and 16-bit control pan and tilt.
f. Spot parameters may be defined as continuous, discrete step, or mixed
step.
g. There shall be 99 Position Libraries, 99 Color Libraries, and 99 Gobo
Libraries for use as a tracking database for programmin g memories.
Libraries shall be selected on the Numeric Soft Keys in Position, Color,
or Gobo modes. Libraries may be assigned text labels.
h. There shall be sp ecial sequ ences for quick selection of active channels.
4. Editors
a. There shall be 2 ed itors.
b. Each Editor may have unique display formats, default number selection,
and default Q-List.
5. Memories (cues)
a. Memories (cues)may be stored in up to 100 QLists. M emories may
contain channels, scrollers, spots, and selected spot parameters. Each
memory may be assigned time-in, time-out, delay, wait-in, and wait-out
fade times. M emories may be assign ed text lab els.
b. The system shall support up to 100 separate QLists. Each QList shall be
an independent memory domain containing memories numbered from 0.1
to 999.9. QLists shall support embedded sub-routines.
c. Memories may have up to 9 parts. Parts may contain channels, scrollers,
spots, or selected spot parameters. Each part of a memory may have
unique fade times.
d. Memories shall support Loop, Link, and Event assignments.
e. Memories may be assigned SM PTE codes for operation through SM PTE
input.
6. Storing and modifying data
a. Memories, groups, snaps, effects, and libraries shall be programmed,
stored, and updated in the editor.
